TRUSTING TO LIVE

Trusting God, having faith in Him is something you have to consciously do everyday and in every situation. Till you come to a point where it becomes a part of you, you just can't help but trust Him. Like the way you breathe in air everyday, without really thinking about it; and you just can't help but breathe, you need it to survive! And if you find yourself in contrary situations like a stuffy nose, or air - tight room, or under water etc, then you consciously strive at breathing, you fight for it, you know you just have to do it, or the end would be fatal. So it is with faith.

As every human being is born with nostrils and respiratory system to make breathing easy in order to sustain life, so also every Christian is born with faith in order to effectively live the God Life. A new born baby breathes in and out without knowing or understanding what it's all about. But as he grows, he learns about it, contrary situations prove to him just how important it is, he treasures it and avoids circumstances that would hinder it. So also a baby Christian is born having faith in God. As he grows he learns about it, contrary situations prove to him just how important it is. And if he is wise, he would treasure it and avoid anything that would endanger it.
Faith is vital to every Believer. For without faith it is impossible to please God. You cannot relate with God unless you have faith that He is. And relating with Him requires faith at all times, for He lives in a realm beyond what we can physically perceive. Sadly, a lot of us neglect the Faith Life and focus on the Sense Life - living and relating only to the physical. Even though we are spirits, we have a soul and a body. But because we more easily relate to our soul and body in this physical world, we focus on those and neglect who we really are, the spirit. We feed our bodies and our minds and emotions with food and information and things of this world all around us, and starve our spirits. And because we don't see the spirit, we think we are ok. Because the body and mind are doing just fine. But if you're sincere to yourself, deep inside you is a certain weakness, a hunger, a restlessness. That is your spirit crying out. As you've been feeding your body and mind, it also needs to be fed - with the Word of God and by His Spirit. And it also needs to dominate your body, your mind, your emotions, your intellect. Because that is the real you. Because that is where the Power is. Because that is where God operates from. He that lives in you. .. If this is not the case, then you're merely an Existing Christian, not a Living Christian. You just answered the row call, " Present! " And then just sat there doing nothing, marking time till our Lord returns. That is not God's plan for you. And until you feed your spirit daily, put your faith to work always, see things more from the spiritual perspective rather than just intellectual or physical, you would never rise to your full potential as a Believer. And when you come face to face with God on the Throne you would see all that you could have achieved but didn't. What a waste. May that not be your portion.
I challenge you today to face every situation that comes your way headlong, knowing that you have the Faith that can move mountains, and the God that created the whole universe by His Word. You can never lose with God by your side. The outcome may not always be as you wish, leave that to the One Who sees all and knows all. Truly, it will all work together for your good, sooner or later. I'm a witness to that.
